We hope you’ll join the author of Phoenix Goes to School: A Story to Support Transgender and Gender Diverse Children for a book reading by the authors which will be followed by a short talk on gender and diversity topics. Kids are welcome and encouraged to attend.

This event will be moderated by Janna Barkin, Author of He’s Always Been My Son: A Mother’s Story About Raising Her Transgender Son, and co-facilitator of the Spahr Center’s Parent Support Group for raising transgender, gender expansive or gender questioning children.

All of the authors will be signing books at a short reception in the courtyard to close out the evening. Books will be available for purchase or you can bring your own book for signature.
