Healing with Feeling – Attitudinal Healing Support Group
December 13 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 1:00pm on day Second of the month, repeating indefinitely
Attitudinal Healing, “Healing With Feeling” is an incredible outlook on life, which helps anyone who is dealing with adversity in their life, to apply various principles to those situations, to turn even the most negative issue into positive outcomes (one principle example: “We can focus on the whole of life, rather than the fragments.”)! Attitudinal Healing (https://www.ahinternational.org ) itself is a cross-cultural method of healing that helps remove self-imposed blocks such as judgment, blame, shame and self-condemnation that are in the way of experiencing lasting love, peace, and happiness. It is based on the belief that it is not people or experiences outside of ourselves that cause us to be upset. Rather, it is our thoughts, attitudes, and judgments about them that cause us distress.
This AH Support Group, established in 1987 specifically for HIV+ individuals, is open to ALL Spahr Center HIV+ clients and friends. This group is called “Healing With Feeling”, and it meets at a member’s home on the 2nd Thursday of each month, from 1pm to 2:30pm. If you’re interested, please contact our group Facilitator, Jennifer Andrews (415) 488-0109 or AtHeal@aol.com, for more info.
