The Spahr Center values the well-being of Marin’s LGBTQ seniors and provides outreach and programming to meet their needs. We offer discussion groups, counseling, and linkage to resources and information vital to keeping seniors healthy and vibrant. We also offer occasional social events such as movie nights and community talent shows. Resiliency, especially among seniors, is closely related to our sense of belonging and connection.

We currently offer two weekly LGBTQ senior discussion groups on Zoom that create connection among participating seniors, as well as providing links to other LGBTQ community events and relevant resources.
