Mental Health & Wellness Supports

The Spahr Center provides affordable and accessible therapy services for queer and trans young people looking to work with providers who have expertise and lived experience with LGBTQ+ identities. We also are committed to reducing the stigma around mental health, and reducing the barriers to getting services. If you feel like you could benefit from talking with a therapist, we are here for you!

We also offer case management for those in need of additional support. Fel, the director of the youth program, holds 20 minute individual meetings that can happen once or regularly. This service is for you if you want help strategizing around difficulties coming up in your life or goals you’d like to work towards! Some examples of what we can talk about include: developing your support system, setting (and achieving!) goals for your life, working on academic motivation, developing better self-care habits and routines, or strategizing around family difficulties.
