Youth Advocacy Coalition
The Youth Advocacy Coalition is a group of queer and trans young people from across the county, high-school age and up, who advocate for the LGTBQ+ community in Marin. Currently, the group focuses on creating safe and equitable schools.
YAC provides allyship trainings, speaks on panels, and has developed a variety of resources for educators and service providers working with LGBTQ+ youth. They are skilled speakers on LGBTQ+ issues from the perspectives of Marin County youth!
If you are a high school student over age 15, have a passion and commitment to work on LGBTQ+ equity in the county, and a willingness to learn new things and work collectively with a group, we would love to have you join our group! Just reach out to Fel Agrelius, the Director of LGBTQ+ Youth Programs, to learn more.
Contact Fel if you are interested in bringing YAC to facilitate an LGBTQ+ allyship workshop or speak on a panel!
